Backing Acrylic

Crystal-clear 2mm and 2.5mm cast acrylic — the go-to backing layer for shaker cards, layered artwork, frames and displays. Laser-ready for CO2 machines.

Clear acrylic (clear perspex, or plexiglass) is the invisible workhorse behind layered projects: it holds shaker fills, seals the back of a frame, protects artwork and forms the base layer under coloured cut-outs. At 2mm and 2.5mm it is thinner and lighter than our 3mm coloured range, which keeps layered pieces slim and cuts faster on a CO2 laser.

Available in 200 × 300mm, 400 × 600mm and 600 × 900mm. For see-through colour instead, browse tinted acrylic sheets.
